Keyrus SA and Trifacta make data wrangling simple

New partnership makes it easy to clean and unify messy data for access and analysis purposes.

Data is being created at an exponential rate in today’s world, and the growth of this data, coupled with organisations’ increasing desires to mine this information for the benefit of the business, means that it is becoming essential for the large amounts of available data to be organised properly for analysis.

The challenge, of course, is that much of the information that companies wish to use is unstructured, irregular or diverse data, which makes manipulating it for business use cases next to impossible, unless it is first tidied up. The question is: how does one go about cleaning and unifying messy and complex data sets for easy access and analysis?

The answer is by data wrangling, which is why Keyrus South Africa has entered into a partnership with Trifacta, recognised as the global leader in this subject, having developed a breakthrough approach to exploring and preparing data. Trifacta has completely re-imagined how analysts can make data useful, by leveraging the latest techniques in data visualisation, machine learning, human-computer interaction and data processing.

"We’re excited to be working with Keyrus SA to extend their offering around data management and analytics to data preparation, enabling the company to take its service set to the next level. Clean data enables robust and accurate analysis, yet manual processes for data preparation are draining organisations’ precious resources and time. This partnership enables Keyrus take the pain out of that critical step, helping them get their customers value with their data projects faster, more efficiently and at lower cost.” says Jeremy Perlman, EMEA Vice President at Trifacta.

Trifacta presents automated visual representations of data, based upon its content, in a compelling visual profile. In addition, every profile is completely interactive, allowing users to simply select certain elements of the profile to prompt transformation suggestions. Detailed visual representations then allow for deeper data exploration, providing an automatic understanding of the data at its most granular level.

“Keyrus will actively market and deploy Trifacta’s data wrangling solutions to clients who are seeking the highest level of data analyses and visualisation. We are thrilled to be able to include Trifacta solutions in the current stable of high-end business intelligence (BI) tools that we offer to our customers,” says Darynn Reddy, Principle Consultant at Keyrus South Africa.

A subsidiary of an international company, represented in more than 15 countries worldwide, Keyrus South Africa – like its parent – specialises in three areas of expertise, namely Management and Transformation, Data Intelligence and Digital Experience.

“Following an intensive training course with Trifacta’s Senior Solutions Architect, Vijay Balasubramaniam, Keyrus SA now has 10 experts that are fully Trifacta-certified. This, combined with our new partnership with Trifacta, will enable us to assist clients to solve the data wrangling problem, one of the biggest bottlenecks in the data lifecycle. Trifacta's solutions will enable us to make this more intuitive and efficient for anyone who works with data,” Reddy concludes.
